On light duties so no drill. Went out in lorries at 8:30 a.m. to Driving Track, which was surprisingly rough for learner and had very difficult bends. Started driving right away with the Instructor in the other seat. Drove 3 ton [2.7 tonne] Ford lorry, not easy for learner. Army rule – double-declutch up and down. Very tired but able to drive lorry back to garage at Kakul by 12:30 p.m. Lectures after lunch and tired again by 4:00 p.m.
