After breakfast. Got into lorries and went down to Havelian for Recovery. Spent the whole day out there, righting overturned lorries and pulling them out of ditches and gorges in every conceivable position. Quite interesting, but very hot 1500 ft [457 m] lower down. I had a terrific thirst by the end of the day.
Night driving without lights started at 8:00 p.m. and after a couple of tiring hours I got back before 11:00 p.m. and went to bed.
