Drill, so up at 6:00 a.m. Technical lecture on Dynamo and Motor and a couple of hours in the Demonstration Rooms. Afternoon, Day Convoy down to Havelian, quite pleasant. Just returned from a Night Convoy; eyes full of dust. A great strain without lights on a difficult track and the only guide being the tail lights of the lorry in front. Very tired, so to bed. Received a letter from Mam dated 12 July. Received a free issue of three blankets.
