Up as usual. Lectures on Defence from Air Attack and camouflage. Also exercise in ‘Appreciation of a Situation’. Finished at lunchtime, had slight headache so took a few aspirins and had a rest. Terrific thunderstorm about 2:00 p.m. hail stones larger than peas thick on the ground, temperature fell about 20°, grew quite cold. Sent to Imperial Bank [of India] for draft.
