Up as usual. Lectures then a visit to Provost Marshal’s Department of the Depot. Nowadays always have stewed fruit as first course for breakfast; good too. Went down to Abbottabad by Jonga [a Nissan designed vehicle formerly used by the Indian Army. Jonga was an acronym for Jabalpur Ordnance and Guncarriage Assembly, manufactured by the Vehicle Factory Jabalpur] with an Indian Officer. Had a look around and went to a bookshop where I met Dean and Ebery. Went to the cinema with them. Saw ’20 Male Team’; not bad. Returned to Mess, had meal and went to bed.
