Up at 5:30 a.m. stiff in every limb from soccer. Drill then breakfast. Exam from 8:30 to 10:45 a.m., paper quite good. Think I did quite well, but that remains to be seen. Lecture on Air Transport in the afternoon 5:30 p.m. most interesting lecture on ‘Hygiene’ by the MO (Medical Officer). Science has made India tolerable provided one takes precautions. Posted letters.
