Once again awakened at 5:30 a.m. and off we go again on the second stretch. Chief topic was that our Coy Cdr had 1 month’s leave; our Platoon Commander also, so we had new Company and Platoon Commanders. The new Coy Cdr, Lt. Hazeldene, has given us a very good impression, he seems a good fellow. We were let off easily today, having no strenuous periods.
